Brian D. Shelters
Brian D. Shelters grew up in Brighton, Michigan. During high school, Brian worked at Keehn Funeral Home. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1974.
After high school, he served an internship at Geer Funeral Home in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He continued his schooling at Wayne State University at the College of Mortuary Science. He graduated from Wayne State in 1979. After graduating in 1979, Brian bought Lamb Funeral Home-Swarthout Chapel of Pinckney, Michigan.
Brian and his wife Lynn (Shaposka) were married June 14, 1980 at St. Georges Lutheran Church in Brighton, Michigan and are currently members of Shalom Lutheran Church in Pinckney, Michigan. Brian and Lynn have three daughters, Molly graduated from Kalamazoo College and has now completed her studies at A.T. Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopatic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri with the title of Doctor of Osteopatic Medicine. Dr. Molly L. Shelters Parker and her husband Joel Parker just bought a house in Coldwater, Michigan where Molly will be doing her residency. Casey has completed her studies at Grand Valley State University with a Masters degree in Accounting. She is employed as a Certified Public Accountant with Plante & Moran in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Bailey graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Athletic Training. She passed the National Board Examination and is a Certified Athletic Trainer.
